Backyard BBQ Contest
Last year, Fall Fest Memphis introduced a Memphis Barbecue Network Sanctioned Backyard BBQ Cook-Off, and the festival elevated to a new level, as the air was filled with an appetizing, smoky aroma and the site resembled that of numerous backyard parties. With such a successful addition, and the fact that we live in the Barbeque Capital of the World, Fall Fest Memphis will once again host a Backyard BBQ Cook-Off on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024. So, get your grills and smokers ready, and polish up those recipes, and join us for a weekend of pulled pork, ribs and all the trimmings!
A Memphis Barbecue Network sanctioned “backyard/patio” contest, the cook-off will offer both pulled pork and ribs catagories, as well as seven ancillary contests including Sauce, Anything But, Appetizer, Cocktail, Side, Dessert and Booth Décor!
Teams may enjoy the benefits of being part of a festival with live music, rides, attractions, vendors, food trucks, cornhole tournament, car show, $10,000 Cash Raffle, and a national concert titled Live on the Field featuring 38 Special!
