Fall Fest Memphis – History

History of Fall Fest Memphis

Fall Fest Memphis is a family-friendly, charitable festival in Memphis, Tennessee. Held annually in October, the event includes a National Concert; two-day Music Fest; $10,000 Cash Raffle; Vendor Fair; Food Truck Fair; Car Show; Carnival with rides and attractions; Backyard BBQ Cook-Off; Golf Tournament; Cabana Space Rental; and Online Auction.

Founded by three women, Jamie Wilson Coggins, Kathy Schiavone, and Stephanie Wilson Nichols, the event originated in 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church and School whereby monies raised benefitted both organizations. St. Ann was home to Fall Fest for four years, and then, the festival relocated to St. Benedict at Auburndale High School for two years, and served as a fundraiser for the school’s annual fund. In 2023, Fall Fest Memphis partnered with Room In The Inn-Memphis in order to raise funds for a cause that affects the entire city of Memphis and surrounding areas – homelessness.

Fall Fest 2025!

*A Milestone Moment: A Long-Time Charitable Festival Becomes an LLC!**

For years, our beloved festival has been a staple in the community—a celebration of togetherness, creativity, and giving back. From humble beginnings, we’ve worked tirelessly to raise funds, support local causes, and provide a platform for people to connect. We are thrilled to announce that, after much thought and planning, we have officially established ourselves as an LLC (Limited Liability Company)!

This is more than just a legal step—it’s a commitment to ensuring the festival’s future, strengthening our ability to give back, and allowing us to grow in exciting new ways.

**Why the Change?**

Transitioning to an LLC will provide us with the structure needed to handle our growing operations more efficiently. With this shift, we can:

  • Increase our capacity to support more charitable organizations
  • Expand the festival experience with better resources and planning
  • Bring new sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations to the table
  • Protect our team and volunteers with a more defined legal structure.

Don’t worry—this is still the same festival you know and love! But with this change, expect even more incredible experiences. We’re excited to see where this new chapter takes us, and we can’t wait to continue making an impact with your support.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers, attendees, sponsors, and partners who’ve helped us get to this point! Here’s to many more years of giving, celebrating, and building an even stronger community together.

STAY TUNED
